INTRODUCING Our CEO and Head All Star

Ashley Maki,

NASM-CPT

Hi parents! I’m Ashley Maki, the All-Star head coach. I’ve been involved in sports and athletics my whole life and wanted to bring my passion and knowledge to the next generation. I am a NASM-certified personal trainer and a former Division I athlete. I played on the women’s volleyball team at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I earned a degree in Public Health and discovered my passion for overall health and wellness. Since 2019, I have been coaching youth ages 18 months to 18 years. Additionally, I hold certifications in adult/pediatric first aid and CPR. I look forward to helping your Junior All Stars reach their full athletic potential.

Since 2019

INTRODUCING Our COO

David Kassisieh,MBA

Hi parents! My name is David Kassisieh, and I moved from Virginia to Las Vegas, Nevada when I was 10 years old. I have considered Las Vegas to be my true home ever since. I attended Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr High School, where I participated in many activities such as wrestling, football, jazz band, and wind ensemble. During my time in high school, I instructed numerous private instrumental lesson sessions for children in the Las Vegas area. I spent much of my weekends in middle school and high school working at my parents’ local business. Through this experience, I met many members of the community firsthand. In 2015, I moved to Reno where I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology as well as my MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno. As of 2024, I am proud to call Las Vegas my home once again. I joined Junior All Stars because I am passionate about inspiring the future generation of youth, just as my mentors here in Las Vegas inspired me long ago.

Hello parents and families!
I’m Teagan Varrati, born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I’m thrilled to be one of your youth sports coaches! INTRODUCING

Coach Shelby

Hi parents! I’m Shelby. I was raised in Louisiana and moved to the Las Vegas area when I was 16. I’m currently a sophomore in college, working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Education. I also work as a substitute teacher to gain hands-on classroom experience while furthering my knowledge to make a lasting impact on young learners.

Growing up in an active family, I developed a strong love for sports and competition. I participated in track throughout high school, specializing in shot put from 9th to 12th grade and competing in sprints during my freshman and sophomore years. These experiences taught me discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.

Outside of teaching and coaching, I’m a proud mom to a two-year-old. I love traveling, hiking, cooking for my family, and spending quality time with my loved ones. I’m excited to work with your little ones and help them grow both on and off the field!
